
What is happening to the muscles when the are aching after a heavy weight Lifting Gym session?
are they repairing themselves or are they growing? Is it best to rest until the pain has gone or would you go back the next day.
The muscles tear then repair, growing bigger and strongr. Kind of like when you break a bone, it heals to be stronger.
You can go back the next day, but it isn’t too smart. That is why people seperate their workout week to be cardio one day, then lifting the next, then rest. Then the cario one day, liftig next, rest…etc.
So I would create a schedule if i were you, and seperate the days a little like the above.
